Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said on Wednesday that solid steps have been taken in order to strengthen the country’s economy, claiming that the economy has improved as compared to the previous fiscal year.A business group belonging to Gujranwala division met Prime Minister here in Islamabad. Speaking on the occasion, PM said that improved strategies and‘intelligent’ policies enabled the government to provide relief in energy crisis.Nawaz Sharif said that the confidence of foreign institutions in Pakistani economy has raised the foreign investment in the country adding that China’s investment in energy and basic infrastructure will further strengthen the economy.Speaking on the security issues, PM said that the path of negotiation has been adopted after consultation in All Parties Conference (APC). He hoped the negotiation will reap favourable fruits.Nawaz Sharif said that loan scheme for youth has been initiated successfully adding that the move was promised in the election campaign.He claimed that parliament members have trusted his leadership and that the steps taken by him can drive the country to development.Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) government has heavily focused its manifesto around the economic development including building new infrastructure and bringing foreign investment.The youth loan scheme was launched towards the end of last year promising small loans for aspiring entrepreneurs on easy terms.
