Princeton, Kentucky has a rich heritage and many famous entities. Newsoms is a local source of pride and you cant find a product made this way in many places. Its done slowly and the old fashioned way. The store, itself, is just as interesting with a traditional wooden floor and very cool old fashioned products. The video stops and starts a lot, but its worth watching. Mario Batali and many of the Food Network chefs order their prosciutto from Newsoms in Princeton. We have a tendency to just take the place for granted and buy our produce, tomato, potato and onion sets there. Newsoms knows its customers, revels in new ones and we know the employees well enough to wave at them as we pass.
