Psalm 23 He leads me beside the still waters.......So I went to sleep last night with this part of the Psalm on my mind and what a restful sleep I had. Usually I get up a number of times during the night. I awoke this morning shill thinking about it as I lay quietly in bed. When I imagine the still water my mind wanders, but when I vision The Lord leading me by the water I can relax. Its strange how my mind always wants to figure it all out to understand it all, to hear all sides of everything and come to a conclusion. BUT, what if God wants Faith to be letting Him lead me beside the still water? To be able to walk with Him and see the calm water that reflects the wonders he has created all around us and just hold on to Him as we walk together. No questions, no whys, no Philosophical debates just walking with my Lord and allowing Him to lead me. If he has my hand and he leads me I can actually see the still waters in every situation. I am safe, secure and in Peace. What a beautiful place to be.
