Psalm 25:8-9 Good and upright is the Lord; therefore He teaches sinners in the way. The humble He guides in justice, and the humble He teaches His way. It is likely that a person cannot know true humility until he sees himself as a sinner, and knows the great sacrifice that the God of the universe has made on their behalf. Matthew 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and the prudent and have revealed them to babes. Even so Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.
