Psalm 4 hearing 1 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness in distress me this largesse, have mercy on me and hear my prayer. 2 sons of men, will you turn my glory into shame? Long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? (Selah) 3 Know therefore that the LORD hath set apart for himself him that is godly: Jehovah will hear when I call unto him. 4-disorder and sin not, speak with your own heart upon your bed, and be still you. (Selah) 5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord. 6 Many say, Who will show us any good? Lord, lift upon us the light of thy countenance. 7 Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that is multiplied their corn and their wine. 8 In peace to lie down and sleep, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.
