Psalms 1:1-6 NKJV Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord , And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. The ungodly are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish. *** Psalm 1 gives straight forward advice to anyone who dares to take advice, especially to those whos whole intent is to obey God. Gods Word is HIS STANDARD for everyone on this planet within the entire universe! Why has God taken such attention on the entire population of this planet, to go to such extreme, to sacrifice His ONLY SON for all the sins of the world... especially yours and my sins? This is a personal question to me, you and the entire world from God. As CREATOR of the universe and all that is within it, to include you and me, He has that right to set THE STANDARD. Who is mankind to change it? Satans deception is to gradually turn mankind away from God and His Word. Dont listen to what religion or mankinds philosophies say, but listen to what God says. God has identified only 2 kinds of people in this world: those who follow God and those who do not. Its interesting that if your were to add up all the different religions and philosophies of mankind, they CLEARLY dont add up to 2. God has drawn the line in the sand: You are either for Him or against Him. If you are for Him you will take the time to know Him personally through Jesus, Who is the Living Word of God. Jesus is the Living Word of God Whom we can feed upon through His Words of Life. Those who do not follow CLEARLY RELEASED where there true heart is. ULTIMATELY, GOD knows our hearts and those who ARE HIS. Romans 6:23 NKJV For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. There is a ULTIMATE payoff for living in sin and without God. Its not a threat its just a fact. GOD has given mankind EVERYTHING they need to stay out of hell. Ultimately, its mans choice... an individual one. God will never force you to love Him; He will honor your choice. Think about it my friends. God FREE GIFT in JESUS is HIS STANDARD for the world... The ONLY STANDARD.
