QUICK TESTIMONY to Inspire and Invoke use of Faith: Today is 3/31/14… For two days now, one of my twin daughters, Zoey couldnt find her sweater for school; wed, seemingly, looked everywhere. She cried last night, saying she did not want to show her arms and couldnt wear anything but uniform sweaters, or they make you take off the sweater... I told her God did not give us WORRY or FEAR, so why WORRY and FEAR. (2 Timothy 1:7) I reminded us what Pastor Paul (RCMI) preached on yesterday (RCMI): FAITH conquers fear and how that FAITH comes by hearing (and believing you will receive) NOT seeing that thing first... (Romans 10:17). And reminded her of what Elder Aldridge preached on (Impact w Truth Ministries): (Romans 15:1) J. is the TRUE VINE and (His) Father within (Him)...for without (HIM) we can do nothing. I told her to thank God in her prayers and not to worry. Now then, I FORGOT to help look for the sweater, as Id promised, last night, and just fell asleep. This MORNING, as I was letting Pete upstairs, something compelled me to go toward my closet door. I suddenly remembered I hadnt looked for her sweater, so as I reached for the light, I began to pray Lord, if You will please allow me to find Zoeys... (click I turned the light on). Before I could finish my prayer, I looked down at my pile of scarves, noticing how my son, Khayln, had opted to take my closet t.v. table (which held my beloved scarves), when he asked if he could have one of my t.v. tables from my room, the previous day. Low and behold, as I was finishing my prayer--the next word to be? You guessed it: sweater, there lay Zoeys sweater, among the pile of scarves!!!! (Hebrews 11:1 Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.) God is not only GOOD, Hes AWESOME and ALWAYS, ALWAYS right on time. Zoey woke up 1 minute later and we celebrated the miracle together! (Nothings too big, or too small for God. (Matthew 7:9) If a child asks for bread, will a parent give that child a stone? Neither will our Father, who is in Heaven... (Matthew 6:28-30) God clothes the grass of the fields...so hell keep clothes on us too... (paraphrasing scriptures...)
