Question for my science, sci-fi, and sci-curious friends (I just made myself laugh with that one): how could miniaturization of stuff work? My first thought was collapsing the empty space in and between atoms; while this would get the physical size down, density would be a problem. You would still be hauling the same mass, and thus negating any space saving you may have done. Reducing the number of atoms wouldnt be effective either, since that would result in an incomplete organism. I think the only way would be to physically reduce the size of each atom, but how? ...hehe, sci-curious
