Question from a #boymom: My 3.5 year-old is extremely dependent on his pacifier. He wants to have it on all the time. He falls asleep with it on, and when he wakes up its the first thing he asks for. It annoys me to no end. I dont know what to do. Ive tried everything. Ive tried only giving it to him when hes going to sleep but he gets extremely frustrated and cries and runs around the house looking for it. Ive tried reasoning with him that hes too old now but he doesnt care. Ive tried not giving it to him because I say so but he cries, and whines, and throws tantrums and I always end giving it back to him. I dont want to lie to him and I want to end this pacifier dependency in a positive way. He has the thing on all the time! But I dont really know what to do. At this point, Im thinking hell be 10 and still sucking on that thing. Any advice will be very, very appreciated!
