Question from a police wife: I would love to have you ask for advise on. I am an LEOW who moved to a new home about 3 months ago. I know for certain that there are at least 6 other LEOs that live in this neighborhood. I believe all are married but not sure. I believe 4 different departments are represented. I have reached out to one LEOW who lives across the street, but as she is a brand new mom, her life is a little nuts right now! I would love to organize a meet & greet at my home with the LEOWs but am unsure how to go about it.....making sure I dont forget/offend anyone; invade privacy, etc. I just feel it is such a unique opportunity to support each other & many times as busy moms/LEOWs/professionals, we wrongly assume others have a strong support system.
