Question time for those seasoned builders. This Endeavour being my first ever project in ship building, (used to build plastic airfix planes). Are there any tricks to the trade when it comes to the rigging of the ship, how to make the cotton threads look more like rope than fluffy ... cotton thread. I have just done the tiller/rudder set up, ya-well-no-fine, absolutely no smooth movement happening there at all. Would really appreciate some feedback from those seasoned veterans in the model building world.
