Quick follow on from a property I posted about, and getting down valued. Tried buying for £81k, rent approx £12k pa. Immaculate finish throughout. TMW valued it at £67k and after a formal complaint budged it to £68k. Really had to buy it as students wanted to move in.... So bought cash. Shawbrook valuer came in at £78k although Im expecting a bump to £81k now my brokers had a word about the price I paid! Gotta wonder what vodoo magic these valuers use.
