Quick little story. I work on the salesfloor at Target (I know, right?! And they PAY me to get familiar with all their merchandise, plus employee discount)...tonight I was folding clothes in the boys department and had a stack of graphic tee-shirts from the Minecraft franchise depicting arrows sticking out of bloody-wounded blockheads. I was really taken aback. Were talking about shirts made for 6-year-olds that are celebrating violent aggression and gore. Now am I alone in my sentiments that such a message is inappropriate for youngsters? Is it a matter of its the way the world works, boys will be boys or are we as a society too desensitized to violence? Thoughts?
