RAISE THE ROOF!!! Thanks to the West Salem Community and idea man, Ken Dalke!!!! WEST SALEM LIONS CLUB WILL DEDICATE THE NEW STAGE ROOF ON AUGUST 14TH, AT THE LAST CONCERT IN THE 31ST ANNUAL SALEM ELECTRIC SUMMER CONCERT SERIES It took two years to plan and two weeks to build, but the West Salem Community, under the leadership of idea man KEN DALKE, raised the estimated $15,000 needed to build a permanent steel roof on the stage in West Salem Park. The project was financed without grant money, and came in $4,000 under budget. The stage will be dedicated during the Gail Gage Jazz Concert during the break between the first and second sets, on Thursday, August 14. The concert is from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
