I want to take you on a journey into the mind of RDB Social Advertising. After you finish reading this, youll have more than just a set of intriguing historical facts about RDB, youll be qualified to have a legitimately deep and meaningful intellectual conversation about RDB Social Advertising. RDB My favorite client Roger said a couple days ago in the RDB Messenger, As a business owner, I wish I could pass the social media to someone else. But no one else has the vision of the business that I do. So I agree with Robert that the business owners need to drive their own social content for it to be believable and create a following. Roger genuinely bringing humanity back to doing business on Facebook. That IS why he is one of my favorites. Youll often read me saying, It’s not about left or right anymore, it’s about favorites or potential enemies. Because what I mean is, its real humans being honest with themselves or just straight up impostors. The RDB philosophy is a vision. You have to understand that you must see a virtuous purpose in building your brand if youre going to be successful in building your brand on Facebook. Facebook marketers are %99.99 without vision, AND Im speaking to %99.99 of YOU who pay for one too… … most of you or your social media marketer slavishly copy Western ideas of advertising, not just in design but even in marketing. Theres no love in Facebook marketing and advertising anymore. My client Janet phrases the core of RDB method as such, In a nutshell you learn to build your personal brand by connecting with people. Using emotion in your writing and getting engagement. Then when you get to 5k you turn it into a fan page. Then you can refer your fans to your business. They will be in the habit of following and supporting you. This is a long term strategy. Rob helps you get there and his friends get the ball rolling by supporting you when Rob asks them to. Janet sees the vision, this is why she will be added into my next group messenger along with Cy and Roger. Those who have not participated, no matter how much they paid me, cannot be invited to the next messenger as they will destroy the RDB vision. If it wasnt obvious, I dont react kindly to those who approach to represent others brands for greed. Like all really downmarket bohemian marketing, they leave Your fans tearing their hair out because when children design posts for You the end result is not just ugliness, its also irrationality. The RDB movement can also be described as Profiles on top and Pages down below, less noise and more human. This is because the greatest challenge, of course, is in bringing out the character of the persons brand, not the content of the page. For example, even pages can build a good looking post, but designing a great graphic and clever post leaves them crawling around in the dust without the origin of a human. Greedy Social Marketers create content for you that try to be personable and relatable, but in truth its very much a nerd trying to be Your brand. Despite everyone understanding the general goal of getting likes and fans, almost no one can figure out how to actually produce posts that will comment. I believe this is because most Facebook pages are too busy following a herd of sheep posting ugly geeky and chaotic content. They follow and create their content in the wrong order. Ill explain more in later chapters, you cant approach content as I need to create content. You have to approach it as I have a feeling I want to express. I believe there is magic in the tiniest details, not the well spoken political savvy fog horn, but the little guy that speaks up not because he claimed a right, but because he is right.
