RDB PHILOSOPHY CHAPTER 6 While my RDB story as written on my pages and group and messenger is a worthwhile read, it doesnt pull the pieces together and build a clear understanding of my vision. I want to take you on a journey into the mind of RDB Social Advertising. After you finish reading this, youll have more than just a set of intriguing historical facts about RDB, youll be qualified to have a legitimately deep and meaningful intellectual conversation about RDB Social Advertising. RDB only speaks to an audience. This morning Janet explains to two new potential clients that the RDB Messenger, establishes you as a leader. This group is to practice doing that. It starts with learning to speak to and grow your audience. I post screenshots of personal messages into open chats and watch how it digs into ones soul to see if the potential client has any chance at building their brand on Facebook. This is so the potential client can internalize that the heart of social media has no secrets. I cut straight through ones facade and penetrate the deepest recesses of ones humanity. Some see my forced requirement to speak to me with an audience is a painful humiliating invasion of privacy, it renders one defenseless, it exposes all the soft weaknesses and hidden horrors of ones nature. And yet, only understanding this and owning up to it, can they truly be successful on social media. If someone asks to return to private message, they have little chance at social media. I have little interest in having them as a client. I have another use for my audience only communication. Our minds are constantly flapping around, our incompetence to do things right now stems from our inability to let go of ourselves and focus on the problem in front of us. If you can focus laser like on what needs to be done you can move mountains. I pin people down, I dont let them flap around, I fix my eyes on them and boom words to effect of: “this and only this needs to done, dont give me any excuses, dont ask me for any alternatives, trust me I know you can do it, so do it right now. A or B.”. Last night Janet comments, Im worried that youll cancel your plans and by the time Rob answers I will have decided its too much work to meet up and given up. Then there wont be any plans. I have to stop trying, its starting to make me crazy. My client Cy jumps in with, Janet, that was directed toward Robert right? Robert, go to Janet, meet up in Ogden with her, or wherever she is. And I dont know, I just say what feels natural, something like, Janet, do you want to get really stressed out planning about tonight OR Nate, Devan, and I drive to meet you at 476 12th Street, Ogden. No thinking. No plans. Right now. A or B. And Ill tell you why I respond like that, because I believe that it comes down to choice, that reason is radically limited to are experience, and in the end reason has its limitations, and when we try to bring reason beyond reality it begins to crack up. We fail to encounter the world in a meaningful way. I think we have to choose when reason doesnt give these answers; that is what we call faith. That is we have to walk into a dark room a little ways before we can switch the light on. Janet responds, Thanks Cy. Rob and the guys, lets meet in Ogden. What time? After giving the time, Facetime Katie, I then decide I might as well prevent canceling with, And Im off. No stopping the magic now. 2015 is going to be different. Today well do something weve never done before, but not just anything, something really different. Over and over again my audience only approach and powerful words turns muddle headed clients and fans into Facebook gods who go on to triumph against seemingly insurmountable odds. Fallen Facebook brands fail because their heads are stuffed full of things which they are constantly trying to juggle, they cant focus on the target audience and dedicate themselves to it, they are always looking for magical bullets, their whole life is dedicated to making excuses and paying others to do things for them on the cheap. I teach people to let go of their baggage and focus on the one feeling that actually needs to be posted. The feeling Right Now. And thats why I call it switching the light on. In the RDB messenger, Devan explains it as, I get it! The point about building your brand is to gain a following. Once you have a following then it is easier to introduce products and services to your following. For example, while I am working on my book I can build my brand following so once the book is published, I already have a following that I can share my book with. Thats the RDB philosophy. Thats how the RDB vision is reinventing social media advertising.
