REACH OUT TO YOUR FRIENDS. Even if you are not in the crosshairs for the current pipeline route, there seems to be a fracking furry in the Marcellus Shale fields of West Virginia, so if things don’t change this is but one battle we are likely to fight during the next several years. We must decisively stop them now. If you live or work in the counties of Roanoke, Montgomery, Giles, Floyd, Franklin, Pulaski, or Pittsylvania or live, work, or go to school in the city or towns of Blacksburg, Radford, Christiansburg, Roanoke, Salem, Pembroke, Pearisburg, Kimbalton, Elliston, Floyd, Carthage, Laurel Branch, Dublin, or any other cities or towns along the current or previous route of this ill-conceived EQT/NextEra Mountain Valley Pipeline proposal, PLEASE ask your friends, neighbors, members of civic organizations, church friends, members of environmental groups, students, co-workers and everyone else you know to get involved by joining us in this fight to STOP THE MOUNTAIN VALLEY PIPELINE. Have them come join our Facebook family at Preserve the NRV and also join the, Preserve Franklin, Preserve Roanoke County, Virginians Against Pipelines, WV Wilderness Lovers vs Proposed pipeline, and Southwest Virginia Anti-Pipeline Coalition. And we ask members of any of those groups to join the others. We must share information, ideas, and keep our spirits up. The more we are united, the larger our numbers, the stronger our voice, then the more our political leaders must listen. They are elected to their positions and we are the voters. So we must send them a clear and unequivocal message that we shall not acquiesce on this proposed Pipeline. We shall never give in, never give up, and never quit the fight to preserve the water, air, land, environment, and the quality of life of the New River Valley and all of Southwest Virginia. We must keep the faith and stay the course. Spread the word and help grow our collective numbers.
