I hope these information which I give with reference,guides you guys!Many of us has a conception or it can be told a misconception about dogs that they are unholy and if you touch them it will break your state of ablution(waduh/holyness)....NO,ITS TOTALLY NOT LIKE THIS! Many of us consider a dog as friend,sleep with them,eat with them etc etc.Even few people leave all their wealth to a dog even if they have heir.Its prohibited in Islam.But a dog may be kept for guarding,herding or for hunting.Also,some refers that you cannot keep dog in your home and your prayer wont be accepted.No,If you enclose your prayer room and resist the dog from going there,it will be accepted.But,it is also said that the angle of rahmat doest enter the living quaters...Well,different references says different things.
