READERS PHOTO OF THE DAY Josh Cole caught this beautifully conditioned snapper in 45 metres in water on the southeast side of Channel Island last Saturday. The fish took an 80 gram Red Dragon Jitterbug (while on the drift) and was subdued on a Shimano T-Curve Revolution rod with Shimano Sustain 4000FG reel. The fishing must have been good as they took 20 fish between 4 anglers plus a John Dory. Apparently there was heaps of bait in water and kingfish lurking amongst the kahawai.
