RESPONSE TO AMIRA KACHALLA Let me start by acknowledging the fact that Amira Kachalla has been one of the good supporters of the current administration in Borno as well as one of those who have been defending and protecting the interest of the state as a whole. Therefore, it is my believe that what she wrote yesterday on the issue of the press release by Amb Baba Ahmed Jidda was as a result of misinformatino. When I read her post, I immediate contacted a close confident of the SSG, and he dispell that issue as baseless and it is in bad faith. He told me that the SSG will be the last person that will ever sale his conscience for money. I then concluded that such rumor must have eminated from those who want create problems within the KSM administration. They may delibrately feed people with wrong information, just to create tension. Because what i read on the press statement by the SSG has nothing to indicate that he is being paid by anybody to distabilize the state. It is my believe that he made the press release with clean mind and good intention. Apart from the fact that Amb Baba Ahmed Jidda is a politician, he is also one of the elders we have in Borno. He had been with His Excellency Governor Kashim Shettima all these while, and I dont think for whatever reason, he will go against the governor. It is therefore very important that as supporters of the current administration in Borno, we should always verify whatever information we get before making it public. There are those who have lost out of the political equation, and are busy doing everything possible to destabilize the state in the name of politics, and I believe such people are responsible for misinforming Amira Kachalla. No any reasonable son or daughter of Borno will be bought by those who only shed tears while trying to defend themselves, but had never shed tears because of the killings and destructions going on in our land. Only heartless people and those without consciense can sale themselves to the devil for monetary gain, and I dont think Amb Baba Ahmed Jidda is one of such people. It is therefore out of context to accuse him of such act. I will therefore, reitrates the point the SSG raised that we should shelve politics aside, at least for now and seek for collective solution to our problems. We should irrespective of our political, tribal, or religious inclination come together to find a lasting solution to our problems. Borno is our only state, and this is the time that it need all of us to come to its aid. May Allah grant us a lasting peace in our dear state, and may he destroy boko haram and those who are either supporting them, or supponsoring them. I also pray for Allah to continue to grant wisdom and courage to our leader His Excellency Gov Kashim Shettima.
