REST and ---CROSS To the Other Side! [Mar.4:35-39] That day, when evening had come, he told them; “Let’s Cross To the Other Side.” So they left the crowd and took him away in a boat... A violent storm came up, and the waves began breaking into the boat, so that the boat was becoming overwhelmed. But Jesus was in the back of the boat, asleep (at Rest) on a cushion. So they woke him up and asked him, “Teacher, don’t you care that we’re going to die?” Then he got up, rebuked the wind, and told the sea, “Calm down! Be still!” The wind stopped blowing, and there was a great calm. Saints, well have problems and hardships in this world. No one is exempt from evil days (Eph.6:13); days when you are Overwhelmed by disturbances and unrest; days when you feel swamped by things you didnt expect or anticipate. On these days it is good to consider, the fact that Jesus overcame all of the troubles that the world threw at Him and He bids us come follow Him! You may also remember, that Jesus is traveling with you and declares Let Us ---Cross To The Other Side!. Dear friends, it is in the ---Cross of Jesus that we are promised The Other Side! Jesus promises you, at the beginning of your journey with Him; Lets ---Cross to the other side! Dear Saints, Jesus has spoken: Let us go to the other side! Consider this; it is through the Cross that we are guaranteed The Other Side of every evil day and every unexpected storm! Jesus has already proclaimed you and I are going with Him to the Other Side of our troubles! Today, follow Him; Take your Rest on the Cushion of His Cross! Jesus said: I have spoken these things to you so that you might have peace (Rest) in Me. In the world you will have trouble, but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world. [Joh.16:33] TODAY, TAKE YOUR REST, BE OF GOOD CHEER, YOU ARE GOING TO CROSS OVER TO THE OTHER SIDE ---GREAT PEACE IS COMING! Blessings, Pastors Matthew and Mary Scott
