July 12, 2014 Bethel Springs, TN Bethel Springs Community Center Match 1: Premier Invitational Grand Prix Qualifying Match- “Beauty and a Beat” of “K-SWISS” and SPW West Tennessee Champion, “Drop Dead” Dale Wylde, defeated “The Super Best Friends” of Austin Carrier and Fleur de Lethal w/Kellen James to qualify for the 2014 Premier Invitational Grand Prix when Wylde pinned Lethal after a combination spinout lariat/leg sweep. Match 2: Premier Invitational Grand Prix Qualifying Match- “Anarchy” of Quiksilver and “King of Violence” Tim Edwards defeated “Mr. Amazing” Marcus Emerick and “The Grappler” Kevin McQueen to qualify for the 2014 Premier Invitational Grand Prix when Edwards pinned McQueen after a combination surfboard/leg drop. Match 3: Premier Invitational Grand Prix Qualifying Match- “Psycho Butcher” Andrew Palmer defeated ½ of the SPW Tag Team Champions, “Big” Mic Vicious, to qualify himself and a partner of his choosing for the 2014 Premier Invitational Grand Prix by pinning Vicious after a chokeslam off of the second rope. Match 4: Kid Thunder defeated Jared Ethan, blocking Ethan’s attempt at his patented Ethanizer, then pinning Ethan with an Oklahoma roll. With this loss, Jared Ethan’s SPW record became 0-8. Match 5: Premier Invitational Grand Prix Qualifying Match- “The Lone Wolf” Rickey Smith defeated ½ of the SPW Tag Team Champions, Christian Shane , to qualify himself and a partner of his choosing for the 2014 Premier Invitational Grand Prix when he made Shane tap out to the Koji Clutch. Before the main event got under way, SPW Heavyweight Champion, “The Southern Saint” Cory Daniels, confronted SPW Senior Official Scott Stevens with his actions from the previous week, where Stevens actually gave Daniels a Stunner in the middle of his match. Stevens attempted to apologize to Daniels, but Daniels told Stevens that it was too late and action had already been taken. Daniels served Stevens with a notice from SPW Liaison to the Senior Partners, Zed Gecko, stating that if Stevens got physical with Daniels again, he would be terminated. Match 6: Premier Invitational Grand Prix Qualifying Match- “Lethal” Steven Davis and “Matty Ice” Matt Taylor defeated Katelynn Pryde and SPW Heavyweight Champion, “The Southern Saint” Cory Daniels, to qualify for the 2014 Premier Invitational Grand Prix when Taylor pinned Daniels with a crucifix bomb.
