REWARD offered for information regarding missing road signs: Within 36 hours of the placement of Dean Creeks new sign, it was stolen. This act is considered theft under Montana Code Annotated 45-6-301 and is a prosecutable crime. This type of theft costs the county time and money and deprives the residents of a potentially life-saving marker. These signs are critical in assisting emergency responders in the course of locating an address. I am in the process of replacing missing signs up to assist emergency personnel, and am grateful for the communitys continued patience as we work through this process. The County is offering a reward for information regarding the theft of these signs that leads to a conviction. If you have any information, please contact the Sheriffs Office at 323-1402.
