ROBBERY FROM INDIVIDUAL Greensboro, NC (January 16, 2014) On January 15, 2014 at approximately 11:30 p.m., Officers responded to 1010 Dewey Street in reference to a robbery of a person. Once on the scene Officers located the victim, Dominique Sanders, black male, 21 years old. The victim stated that he was walking through the breezeway at 1010 Dewey Street when he was approached by a suspect who pointed a handgun at him and demanded his property. The victim complied and surrendered his personal property to the suspect. The suspect then fled on foot and may have gotten into a vehicle that was leaving the area at the time. No one was injured. The suspect was described as a dark complexioned black male, about 5’9” tall, 150 lbs, and appeared to be in his 20’s. He was last seen wearing an orange knit hat, an orange coat, and dark jeans. He was armed with an unknown type of handgun. The investigation is ongoing at this time. Eastern District Patrol Officers responded to the call.
