ROMEO AND JULIET AUDITIONS! - Cast - Assistant Director - Creative Director Do we have set rooms yet for auditions? No, this is KCL timetabling we are talking about but anyone who may be interested in auditioning for this years radical production of Romeo and Juliet should take note now. For most likely the first time ever, Romeo and Juliet is being cut down to 5 cast members: Romeo, Juliet, the Nurse, Friar Lawrence and a unique fifth cast member in the form of a QC explaining how their tragic story unfolds. We are also looking for an Assistant Director and a Creative Director. - Assistant Director - Were looking for a committed individual who is interested in supporting project as it develops in the rehearsal room. Experience of directing or assistant directing is in no way necessary or an advantage, applicants need to be creative, very organised and able to assert themselves. The primary role of the Assistant Director will be to ensure that the rehearsal process runs smoothly, which involves knowing where people should be and they did last rehearsal and what the plan is for them to do next rehearsal. - Creative Assistant - A creative assistant will be primarily involved with providing and implementing ideas relating to all creative areas of the play apart from the performances of the actors. Our chosen applicant will not only have good ideas but will be able execute them using their initiative and in a professional way. If you think you would be suitable for these roles, please email: [email protected] with a short summary of your skills and why you would like to take on the role by Monday 11th November.
