RUBBISH TO ART COMPETITION details posted for participants of Wahine on Waves event in Gizzy 21st Jan ... Create your own piece of artwork from rubbish mobile, canvas, 2D, 3D any size, you can glue it, tie it, hang it - anything goes within these simple rules 1. Any rubbish can end up on the beach so gather from the beach /river/street or raid the recycling bin 2. Please make sure that all rubbish used is clean or has been washed thoroughly - younger artists ask older whanau or friends to help safely collect and create your masterpiece 3. Please label your artwork securely with your name, age, contact phone number and title of artwork 4. Entries to be delivered to the Information Centre on Grey Street by 4pm on Sunday 1st of Feb 2015. AGE CATEGORIES: 0-7years of age, 8-13, 13-18, 18 onwards CELEBRITY JUDGES: Ellen Jarratt of Create and Educate & Tony Ogle coastal and landscape artist.
