RULES FOR “REAL STREET” 2013 1. Valid driver’s license from Tipton County. 2. Valid vehicle registration from Tipton County. 3. Valid license plate from Tipton County. Dealer plates prohibited. 4. Valid proof-of-insurance card. 5. A copy of your registration and insurance must be turned it when you pay to enter. 6. The only vehicles allowed are 4-wheeled cars, trucks and SUVs. They may be of domestic or import manufacturers. 7. No dragsters, buggies, flip-up or lift-off bodies allowed. 8. No cubic inch limit. 9. Vehicle must have driver and passenger front seats. 10. Vehicle must have stock-appearing dash with any gauge cluster and alum. Inserts permitted. 11. Vehicle must have functional glass windows. No lexan except for rear windows in trucks with cages protruding through window. 12. Vehicle must have functional taillights, headlights, brake lights, and turn signals. 13. Any fuel type permitted. 14. Everyone must run full exhaust and mufflers, with the exception of turbo cars. 15. Hood bumpers and deck lid may only be replaced with lightweight components. 16. D.O.T. tires; any size. 17. NO ONE will be allowed to change tires on any vehicle. 18. Must pass tech for your cars ET and MPH capabilities. 19. Battery charging is NOT permitted. 20. You must arrive at the meeting place by 4:00 p.m. the day of the race. 21. Arrive at the meeting location with a full tank of fuel. You will not be allowed to add fuel at any time thereafter. The ONLY EXCEPTION to this rule will be for the BONUS RACE: “KING OF THE STREET vs. REAL STREET”. 22. Once you arrive at the meeting location, you will not be allowed to raise your vehicle’s hood for any reason or at any time thereafter. DOING SO WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION. 23. We will draw numbers the day of the race at our meeting place. 24. There will be a MANDATORY drive from the meeting place to the race track. EVERYONE MUST LEAVE THE MEETING AT THE SAME TIME. IF YOU ARE NOT THERE WHEN WE LEAVE, YOU ARE OUT OF THE RACE. 25. No one will be allowed to work on their car after departing from the meeting. The ONLY EXCEPTIONS are for checking air pressure and turning on the NOS prior to running. If you have more than one bottle of NOS, ALL BOTTLES MUST BE TURNED ON AT THE SAME TIME or YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO REMOVE THE EXTRA BOTTLES. Changing of NOS bottles is NOT permitted. 26. We will depart from the meeting place in a line formation. YOU CANNOT FALL BEHIND FROM THE CHASE CAR AND MUST STAY WITH THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC. 27. Upon arrival to the track after departing from the meeting, you must go straight into the staging lanes. 28. In the event of tree or light malfunction, there will be an AUTOMATIC RERUN. YOU MUST RETURN IMMEDIATELY TO THE STAGING LANES. 29. In the event of a double-foul, the first one to foul out is out. 30. The final race will be a 2 OUT OF 3 BACK TO BACK competition (NO EXCEPTIONS). YOU WILL RUN AND RETURN IMMEDIATELY TO THE STAGING LANES. IF YOU BREAK YOUR CAR AND CANNOT COMPETE FOR ANY REASON, YOU ARE OUT OF THE COMPETITION. NO EXCEPTIONS. Like ·
