Race report: Run the D.o.G. 5K; 18:20, 2nd Masters, not sure overall - very talented field (I mean, come on, Justin Turner was third with a time in the low 15s - winner ran a 14:40-something?). Beat by two girls, but one beat John Piggott, and the other was two-time Olympic Trials competitor Renee High, so, you know, Im good with that. Thighs still pretty trashed from Boston, so Im happy with my time (at least I keep telling myself that). Great to see everyone on a gorgeous Williamsburg morning, and a fantastic job by Jim and Geri Elder of Colonial Sports! So grateful to be a part of this community and to be physically able to participate in an activity I love. Nice to see Dena R. Goble and Elizabeth Betsy Mckenna - what group were you supporting today? Lastly, special thanks to my beautiful wife Theresa for not killing me for leaving her home alone to prepare for the yard sale.
