Rain pours on freshly turned soil and soaks the plants till beyond - TopicsExpress

Rain pours on freshly turned soil and soaks the plants till beyond absorption leaving their roots exposed and raw. The plants, victims of circumstance, have the belief that water is good for them, suffer in silence. They drown and are ruined for some days, perhaps weeks or months. Until they heal, grow and become stronger and more resilient than before. Meanwhile they mourn the rain, their chosen spot and the sounding plants who did not and could not help them. Did the surrounding trees see the rain coming? If so were they spiteful in their lack of warning? Plants want the water, need the water but at times it is overwhelming, damaging and costly. Some plants loose the battle.
