Random Encouragement: Being a firm believer in the philosophy that when one is lifted up in encouragement and appreciation, our whole community is also lifted up ... Id like to publicly acknowledge people who add so much light and love to those who know them. You might be one of my closest friends or you might be a passing acquaintance. You might be an artist pursuing your passion in creative ways or you might be a shy intellectual who isnt used to public praise and admiration. You might even be family! It matters not the duration of our friendship - or even the in-person nature of it (in this age of social media). We are friends for a reason. So, today, Id love to randomly lift up, encourage and thank: Dixie Collins, Rip Read, Aurore Giguet, Rick Wisenor, Susan Rowell, Chad McMillan, Michele Quinn Andelbradt, Dennis Barber, Toni Kizzia, Anthony Ramirez, Kitty Boyte McKee and Tim Hansen. You have all added to the world in one way or another (past and/or present) and I am grateful for your gifts. Thank you. P.S. I often have people responding that they have no idea why I would thank them. Let me put it this way: Anyone who makes an effort towards loving others, being kind, compassionate, forgiving, sincerely searching for truth and good (even while you may also be struggling or stumbling) ... that person has made a difference in my life and all who know them. I believe in being thankful for that.
