Rationalism teaches us to deny the eternity that God has placed in our hearts. Christians raised on rationalism live lives where the supernatural, the vertical, is suppressed and where God Himself is at best an observer and certainly seldom, if ever, an obvious participant in church. -James MacDonald (Vertical Church) Church is not just a place to see our friends, sing some songs, and make an appearance. May the gathering of the saints be a beautiful display of every tribe, nation, and tongue coming to worship the Almighty God.
