Reader question: My 4 year old is starting pre-kinder in the fall and the schools are requiring hep B vaccine. She is up to date with vaccines, but we did not want hep B for multiple reasons. We need guidance how to proceed with school with this matter as we still do not want this for our child. Dealing with asthma and allergies as well and we will talking to our doctor to see if he can work with a waiver of sort. Any of you eliminate this vaccine and how did you proceed with school?
