Really interesting article. Clearly there are a million reasons that players switch coaches. And a lot of the reasons are valid. You have to have that special connection to be effective with a player one on one. But I also wonder how much of it is players and their camps, being unwilling or unable to accept responsibility for poor results or outcome. Many players need t get fitter or change their serve grip or do something specific to move to the next level. Often it is easier to hire someone who will tell you what you want to hear. As opposed to making the tough decisions. And having the hard conversation.
