Really thank God for getting home safely from Church tonight. These photos I took from Kathryn Smiths driveway when I dropped her off - her driveway was the last one with access. Lights were out on Jersey Road, very dark. On Tasman Ave I drove into the deepest water I have ever driven through - was very deceptive and looked like the other places where it was only 4 or 5 inches deep. Ignored my knee jerk reaction to slam on the breaks and panic (calm side of brain said if you do that youll get stuck), just kept a steady drive through through the water that came just above the bottom of the car doors and prayed. A couple of branches down in my street but not too bad.
