Reamus, A late Reamapost, but then - its been a busy week! Many thanks to everyone who came to see Wicked at the Capitol on Saturday night, and a special thanks to Maddy Lardner for organising it. Whenever a good thing happens, we should be looking at it for its worth, and finding ways to do it more. Lets do more of that, Reamus. Good times. UPCOMING STUFF - Friday 7th & Saturday 8th November, 8pm - Hissyfest @ The Civic Playhouse (a series of short plays, one with Briggs and Kaysia, directed by Craig) - Saturday 8th November, 9am-6pm - Reamus Fundraiser @ Big W Greenhills (you dont have to be there for it all!) - Saturday 9th November, 10:45am - Movement In Theatre workshop w/ Andrew McInnes (did I mention it was free?) - Friday 14th & Saturday 15th November, 7pm - Singleton Tales @ Singleton Youth Venue (a joint venture between Tantrum Youth Arts and me, Dan Stranger) THE MAN FROM... SOMETHING For two or three weeks now, the RIPA students among us have mentioned a new play theyre putting together - but whats it called? Whens it on? How much? Who cares? The answers to all these questions (and more!) will remain a mystery, as they all seem incapable of posting anything about it. Hint hint. SECRET SANTA A colourful suggestion to bring us all closer over the holiday season - Reamus is doing a Secret Santa. One Monday night (probably next week), well draw names of persons to get presents for. To still include those on a low budget, were setting the limit at $20 maximum. Want in? Comment below with Ill join the SS (pun intended). FEES Were getting headlong into Term 4, Reamus. We need your Term 4 fees to keep this train on its tracks. Only $20. Also, for the unmembered: $10 membership fee ($5 for students). A FULL PLATE, A BIG APPETITE A cavalcade of upcoming shows, events and experiences are going to be catapulted your way during tonights Reamusircle. Weve got a busy 2015, Reamus, and I am very excited to have you guys as a part of it. Consequently, a lot of information is going to be shared, so I strongly advise you all to bring a notepad, and something to write with. Opportunity favours the doers, Reamus. Be doers, not forgetters. That is all. A heart is not judged by how much you ream; but by how much you are reamed by others (points for movie & character name). See you tonight. Dan
