Riot Breaks out at Main Street Station [Page A1, above the fold] Last night a riot broke out at Main Street Skytrain Station. A police investigation is still under way, however, there seem to have been very few witnesses to the troubling incident, which seemed to mirror the violent viral video game Main Street Massacre. Initial reports state that there were a number of fatalities as people rushed down the stairways. At least two people were trampled to death, and the transit police who were there at the time are missing, presumed dead. Police report that a number of other missing persons reports have also been filed for people who were believed to be in the area around that time. One of the few witnesses to the scene reports seeing what appeared to be blood coming out of the fire suppression equipment, making the stairs slick, contributed to the deaths. ... Government and Teachers Union need to take notice What started as a typical Thursday night turned grizzly, as dozens of students attending a party found themselves under attack. Terrible, just terrible, local school board trustee Pat Dionysus was quoted as saying, and, it being a school night, this tragedy might have been prevented had it not been for the strike. The giant outdoor party took place at Greenwood Park in North Vancouver, in a clearing locally known as the gods chair. One of the students described the attacker as, A crazy, homeless, Captain Hook dude. Some students remain in hospital with serious injuries.
