Regarding Futures End The 5yl masked Superman. Who do you think he is? Hes exhibited the usual array of powers, but he is obnoxious. Hrm... Sounds like a couple people we know, especially given his disregard for potential victims in the middle of a fight. Read many guesses, but I believe it would be Wildfire. Fact checking: in S/LSH 195, he exhibited a wide range of abilities (duplicating others abilities)... I dont recall whether super-strength was one or not. He is/was trapped in the 20th century. The costume very in-line with his own. He was rude, cocky, etc. Ive also read it possibly being Booster Gold. I think thats a red herring, as its been stated in multiple interviews that he has a big role... I dont believe it would be as someone else. Our Booster was an egomaniac, and spotlight grabber. Its too easy to assume it because Jurgens is on it. This Superman exhibits none of that behavior. Another has been that its another Super (clone, Kal-L, Jon)... Im going to say right now that there is no way it would be Kal-L, as after what hes done, there is no way to redeem that. The clone is dead (?), and Jon may or may not be redeemable. Jon is quite unpopular, and was not able to carry the solo book. I dont see it. Thoughts?
