Regardless of how the Vote turns out, Scotland and the UK will be - TopicsExpress

Regardless of how the Vote turns out, Scotland and the UK will be forever changed. The level of political engagement is unprecedented and it is this almost as much as the end result which will reverberate down the years. The North of England will push for a voice and this tsunami of grass roots disenchantment will move inexorably South over the next decade. Me? For what it is worth I voted Yes, despite the Yes Campaign not quite delivering on the details as much as I wished. I hope to get a New Democracy out of this - one more accountable to the voters, if not a socialist government then at least one with a social conscience. Where the weakest and most vulnerable are not left behind or ignored, where immigrants are welcomed with the words Welcome to Scotland, lets get to work! Although the Yes/No camps are divided they do have a common interest, a successful Scotland and if we achieve Independence we must harness this collective energy for a common cause. If we dont break away, we need to kick and scream for Devo Max ASAP. From tomorrow we really should be better together in a Scotland forever changed...
