Rejection of the offer to reign with Christ: Jesus said if u suffer with me ...u shall reign with me. If u loose yr life for my sake, u will gain it.... (God/Jesus talk abt REGAIN not RECEIVE IT again only but GAIN IT. GAIN differs from capital) The devil uses temptations but God uses trials to examin/test us before our promotions in d Xtain race. For the faithful, God hijacks the evil motive of the devil, (to claim of us his own) by providing us a way of escape, blessing us at the other end, purifying our faith and promoting us in the race as heroes. But is some cases He may decide not to avail us with escape. Thereby offering us the opportunity to suffer with Him.
