Reminder from Main Roads that the Gillies, Kuranda and Rex Ranges are presently closed do the fallen vegetation. There are also delays on the Captain Cook Highway about 1 km north of Ellis Beach due to a dislodged boulder which has fallen onto the roadway - Caution is urged. Police are urging motorists to only undertake travel if absolutely necessary and to consult the traffic and travel information 131940 website for current road information.
