Rescue Station Zázrivej-Slovakia is designed to rescue injured or otherwise affected wildlife and abandoned pups. We are engaged in their treatment, rehabilitation, preparation for discharge, and spontaneous recovery of cleaned birds in nature Ambulance station for wildlife works in Zázrivej since 2001, we have therefore extensive experience in rehabilitation of various kinds. In the ten years of our activity we take station in more than 500 diverse species of animals. It was more than 20 species of birds, seven kinds of mammals, 3 species of amphibians and reptiles 2. The most common types are: golden eagle, buzzard and kestrel. These three species account for about one third of all patients. In the long-term average, we are able to get back to nature more than half of the animals received.
