Rest in Peace Robin Williams In a brilliant comedic career He filled millions of people with cheer Now his soul has been freed So we wish him Godspeed As he enters his final frontier He broke in as a fellow named Mork Who was seen from L.A. to New York On a seventies show That he did long ago With an actress named Pam in support After that came unbridled success From the talent with which he was blessed Many laughs he provoked As he bantered and joked He was truly the master of jest But in drama he also excelled In the highest esteem he was held For his acting techniques Drawing glowing critiques As his fee and his bank account swelled Robin Williams was born with a flair Which made him a rich millionaire But with all of his fame And artistic acclaim He was riddled with angst and despair So we say ‘Rest in Peace’ to a guy Who was sweeter than strawberry pie Now the curtain’s come down On this actor and clown Who’s the apple of many an eye
