Restaurant Host/Hostess (Haleiwa/ North Shore) Hi`ipaka LLC, Waimea Valley on the North Shore of Oahu (across from Waimea Bay) is seeking a part time Host/Hostess to work in the Proud Peacock Restaurant. The hosts primary objective is to provide friendly, attentive, and timely service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests. The host will also assist with restaurant bussing duties as time permits. The Proud Peacock restaurant is open Thursday through Sunday. Weekend and evening work is required. This is a part time position with limited benefits. Qualifications: • Minimum 2 years front of house restaurant experience • Be 18 years of age. • Must possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members. • Must have a TB clearance. • Be able to communicate and understand English. • Must be able to work flexible hours beginning at 3:30pm (Thur.-Sat.) and 9:00am (Sun.) • Must be able to monitor reservations and organize seating arrangements. • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours). • Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds • Be willing to follow direction and ask questions for clarification if needed. • Be able to work in a fast paced restaurant environment.
