Reviews are coming in for The Complete Original Works of Anthony Newman: Newman’s style is largely driven by neoclassical elements, with occasional lapses into neo-Baroque and neo-Romantic idioms. All of his music is quite tonal, and is written with considerable fluency in his chosen means of expression. Most of the music is upbeat, with lively figurations, joyous melodic utterances, and driving rhythmic figurations.
