Rhododendron Fireball ... need we say more? It definitely looks like a ball of fire with its deep orangey-red flowers. The dark green, maroon-tinted leaves turn a fantastic purple-red and bronzy color in the fall. Its ideal for smaller gardens or for filling in gaps in a mixed or shrub border. Fireball likes full sun to part shade and in 10 years it gets 4 - 6 tall and 3 wide. And Syringa (Lilac) Miss Kim is wonderfully fragrant! Deep purple buds open to abundant clusters of lavender blue flowers. Blooms later than others, extending the season. Nice maroon autumn foliage is a great bonus! Her mature height is just 6 - 7. Both are available right now in the RSBG Nursery. Stop by this weekend and grab them up before theyre all gone! Open 10am-4pm, Tuesday - Sunday. Closed Mondays. rhodygarden.org/cms/shop/rsbg-nursery/
