Righteous Generations Prophet Muhammad (sal Allahu alaihi wa - TopicsExpress

Righteous Generations Prophet Muhammad (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) drew four lines and said to the Companions, Do you know what these are? They said, Allah and His Messenger know best. He said, The best women of the women of Paradise are Khadeejah bint Khuwaylid, Fatimah bint Muhammad, Maryam bint Imran, and Aasiyah bint Muzahim (the wife of the Pharaoh). [Ahmad] It was the style of the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) that he would ask a question to draw the attention of his Companions. This hadith tells us who the best women in Paradise are. They are four and what they have in common is that they are all connected to a prophet. Two of them brought up prophets: Maryam (alaihis salaam) brought up Eesa (alaihis salaam) and Aasia (alaihis salaam) brought up Musa (alaihis salaam). The other two perfect women, Khadeejah and Fatima (radi Allahu anhuma), were the wife and daughter of a prophet respectively. Hazrat Khadeeja was one of the main pillars of support for Muhammad (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam), spiritually, emotionally and financially. She was also the mother of one of the perfect women, i.e. Hazrat Fatima. Hazrat Fatima was Muhammad (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam)’s daughter – ascetic and most like him. She was the mother of Imams Hasan and Husain, who are the leaders of the youth in Jannah. She was also the wife of Hazrat Ali, one of the Sahabah promised Jannah. What feminists would not like to have pointed out here is that it isnt fantastic careers that make these women enviable. It is the duties they performed as mothers or wives that raised them to the level of perfection (kamil). While it is perfectly halal for women to be executives, lawyers, scientists or artists, this is not what can qualify one for Jannah. What the feminist movement puts down, the role of women in bringing up children, is unique to women and cannot be done by other than them. When done with taqwa, it is what can qualify them for the highest stations in Jannah. This Ummah will not progress till the sisters of this Ummah do what only they can do, and that is to bring up righteous generations.
