Road trip. This time across town to the mammoth dig site. Here we find the remains of Colombian and Woolly Mammoths trapped in a sink hole that was filled with water. A pleasant place to spend the day watching the forensic excavation of the skeletons. Seems that though most of the animals trapped in the sinkhole drowned there was often enough of the body above water and mud to allow scavengers such as giant short face bears to feast. One bear skull has been found in this excavation.
