Roasting chicken (8 lbs) dry-rubbed. Lamb, boneless half-leg, is marinated, and now in pan with diced red-skinned potatoes, garlic, and lots of fresh oregano. Spiral sliced ham is in pan and covered with foil Herb rolls and feather rolls are baked. Death by chocolate is cooling. Herb and cheese phyllo pies assembled. Still need to get the eggplant dish together. And the rice. Sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, asparagus. Am I forgetting anything? Tossed salad, macaroons, fruit and chocolate dip are being brought, as is wine. Have lemonade and sparkling juice chilled. The smoked salmon and the salami are in the fridge with the cheese. I give praise for disposable roasting pans, ecologically unsound as they are, for times when I am cooking multiple main dishes in the oven.
