Rob went into surgery at 1:30 pm and was out by 4:00pm, back in his room by 5:00pm. Dr. Casey said that it went real well. There was enough bone left to do the total shoulder replacement, and the soft tissue all looked good. He said the joint was one of the worst he had seen. They brought him dinner, but then said he could only have ice chips, so I ate most of the dinner, Salisbury steak, baked potato zucchini, roll, pears, cream pie, and grape juice. I left the roll, pears, and grape juice! By 8:00 he wanted soup and sandwich, so I helped him to eat that, and left him nodding off, and got home to Kevin before our 9:00 bedtime.
