Robert Newman gets to grips with the wars and politics of the last hundred years - but rather than adhering to the history we were fed at school, he places oil centre stage as the cause of all the commotion. For those who have not heard of this dude or seen this presentation, it is a masterclass in political comedy, or history as entertainment. Ive not seen anything quite like it. Almost all of the narrative details Im intimately familiar with, but the way this guy tells the story/frames that narrative is nothing short of brilliant. An absolute must watch. A real find. This explains so much, and so well.
